North Tahoe Regional Park
Just about a 1/2 mile from our cabin via the trail system or about 1.5 miles via the roads, North Tahoe regional park is one of the hidden gems of the North Shore.
During non-snow seasons you can play baseball, basketball softball, soccer on the artificial turf field, racketball, tennis, or enjoy the 18 hole disc golf course. Countless trails wind around the beautiful forest. Summer season brings movies and concerts to the park for you to enjoy.
During the snow-season, head up to the park for the sledding hill and snowmobile rentals. You can also explore the park trails by snowshoe or xc skis as they are regularly groomed.

The Lake
Of course the Lake is just a few hundred yards away and it is certainly one of the most majestic places on the planet!
Grab some beach chairs and walk to one of the best sand beaches on the lake! Moon-Dunes-Beach is our neighborhood spot to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe.
Kings Beach Recreation area is just ONE mile away and is the hub for the North Lake Tahoe summer recreation.
